Beverly J. (Metcalf) Cronin's Obituary
Beverly J. (Metcalf) Cronin, 83, of Roswell, GA, formerly of Sebring, OH died on Friday, July 25, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, GA after a brief illness. She was born on April 14, 1925 in Youngstown, and lived in the Youngstown area most of her life. Beverly received her Master s Degree in Library Science from Carnegie-Mellon University. She was retired from the Mahoning County Library, where she was employed as a librarian. Mrs. Cronin was a member of the Union Avenue United Methodist Church. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Laurie Cronin of Roswell, GA; and two brothers, James L. Metcalf of Struthers, OH and Richard G. Metcalf of Dayton, OH. Preceding her in death were her parents, James L. and Jeanne V. (Kinsel) Metcalf; her sister Ruth; her brother William; and her husband of fifty-three years, Richard E. Cronin. A graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Park in Sebring, OH on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. John L. Ferris of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating.
