Betty E. Webb's Obituary
Betty E. (Wright) Webb, 97, of Alliance, passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
Born on March 14, 1925 in Salineville, to Orrin A. and Alice A. (Baker) Wright, she lived in Alliance all of her adult life.
A 1943 graduate of Salineville High School, Betty was employed at Alliance Community Hospital as the Obstetrics Ward Secretary.
During WWII, Betty contributed to the war effort by working as a crane operator at the B&W Rush St. Plant.
Her favorite past time was crocheting various pieces for family, friends and her nursery babies.
Survivors include her two sons, Richard Webb of Alliance and Robert A. Webb of Sebring; two granddaughters, Rachel of Tulsa, OK and Mackenzie of Alliance; and two great-grandchilden.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert H.  Webb, whom she married on June 18, 1946 and who died on February 24, 2012; her father, Orrin A. Wright; her mother, Alice A. Wright-Pless; step-father, Floyd M. Pless; and a brother, Orrin A. Wright.
There will be no service per her request.  Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
