Betty Tarolli's Obituary
Betty Lou Tarolli, 77, formerly of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at 7:40 a.m. at Blossom Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Salem. Born on September 5, 1935 in Carbon Hill, Ohio, she lived in Alliance most of her life. She received her education at Alliance High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She retired from the Ohio Drill & Tool Co. in Homeworth after 30 plus years of service, and then employed as a care-giver at American Health Care in Lisbon. Betty had been formerly active with the B.P. O. Elks Auxiliary. In her past-time, she enjoyed playing cards, enjoyed dancing and her dog, Taz. Survivors include two sons, Donald (Jan) Tarolli of Salem and Daniel Tarolli of Lisbon; 2 grandchildren, Stephanie & Nicholas; a sister, Victoria (John) Stewart of Salem; a sister-in-law, Helen Wilson of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Donald "Shakey" Tarolli on May 19, 1979; her parents, Nick and Julia Charlotte (McGrath) Popovich; and a brother, Bobby Joe Popovich. A private funeral service will take place. There will be no calling hours. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
