Betty J. Pacheaco's Obituary
Betty J. Pacheaco, 79, of Alliance died on Wednesday, September 14, 2005, at 1:13 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. A lifelong resident of Alliance, Betty was born on June 17, 1926, and was a 1944 graduate of Alliance High School. She had worked at the United Co-Op, Kuntzman Trucking, and Edwards Lumber. For the last 38 years, she had been employed at the former Cunningham Furniture Store as a secretary. She was a member of the First Immanuel United Church of Christ. Betty was also a long-time member of the T.G. Club. Mrs. Pacheaco is survived by two daughters, Linda (Robert) Zepernick and Susan (Lawrence) Sampson, both of Alliance; a son, Steven (Leah) Pacheaco of Huntingdon, PA; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond G. Pacheaco on July 20, 1999, (they were married on August 3, 1946); an infant daughter, Peggy Lynn Pacheaco; her parents, Elmer R. and Bernice P. (Martin) Hall; and a sister, Evelyn Sedzmak. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, September 17, 2005, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Neal Mann officiating. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
