Betty J. "Honey" Locke's Obituary
Betty J. "Honey" Locke, 83, of Alliance, died on Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 6:55 a.m. at her home. Born in Carroll County, on July 2, 1920, she has lived in Alliance most of her life. She had been a clerk at the former Super Center and was a former member of Eastern Stars. Mrs. Locke is survived by her husband, Cornelius M. Coug Locke, (they were married on June 12, 1940); a daughter, Cheryl Sue Peterson of Cuyahoga Falls; a son, Craig M. and Janice Locke of Alliance; two grandchildren, Christopher M. (Stephanie) Locke of Atwater and Michelle R. (Greg) Noll of Louisville; two great-grandchildren, Rebecca Locke and Anna Noll; a brother, Alfred Eugene Jim and Betty Lou Frantum of Augusta, OH; several nieces and nephews; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Storck and Corine (Dinger) Storck Frantum. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 :00 a.m. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Association, the Alzheimer's Association, or to the Audubon Society.
