Betty Haidet 's Obituary
Betty (Hupp) Haidet, 83, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Danbury Senior Living in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on September 24, 1934 in Alliance, Ohio to Henry and Hazel (Eddy) Hupp, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
Betty was a graduate of Alliance High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Betty loved to make Afghans for all the family members and was an avid reader. She loved to travel with her best friend Miriam Dregich. Special thanks to Danbury Senior Living of Alliance for all their care and respect, and the help of Great Lakes Hospice.
Survivors include daughter, Debra Frank of Medina, OH; two sons, Larry (Carmen) Haidet of Alliance, OH, Thomas (Missi) Haidet of Sebring, OH; six grandchildren, Jessica (Adam) Grimes, Lee, Tyler (Lindsey), Tommi, Nicholas, & Ashley; five great-grandchildren, Andy, Danny, Annie, Ezra, & Ellie; a brother, Donald Hupp of CA; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles H. Haidet, whom she married on April 4, 1952 and died on February 14, 2010; granddaughter, Lindsey; father, Henry Hupp; mother, Hazel Hupp; beloved step-father, Vincent Moulin; four brothers, Dick, Hank, Jim & Bob Hupp.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Matthew J. Mankowski as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
