Betty L. (Scott) Dolin's Obituary
Betty L. (Scott) Dolin, 72, of 36 Johnson Road, North Benton, Ohio, died on Saturday, August 20, 2005, at 6:38 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born in Morris Ranch, Texas on October 22, 1932 and had been a resident of Alliance and North Benton areas for most of her life. Mrs. Dolin retired from General Electric in Ravenna and enjoyed camping, fishing and shopping. She is survived by her husband, Clarence A. Dolin, whom she married on September 25, 1974; a daughter, Janice (P.J.) Kelly of Alliance; three sons, Larry Scott of Alliance, Terry Scott of Alliance, and Kenneth Dolin of North Benton; four grandchildren, Shawn Kelly, Darrell Kelly, Katy Scott and Samantha Dolin; a sister, Maedell Hill of Deerfield; four brothers, Gene Wamer of Lake Milton, Pastor Ronald Wamer of East Palestine, Chuck Wamer of Meade, FL, and Jesse Wamer of Salem; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse G. and Louise Wamer; and a brother, Bob Wamer. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, August 22, 2005, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. with her brother, Pastor Ronald Wamer of the New Springfield Church of God in New Springfield, Ohio, officiating. Interment will follow at the Mottown Cemetery in Deerfield, Ohio.
