Betty J. Conrad's Obituary
Betty J. (Knisley) Penny Conrad, 93, of Alliance, passed away and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 12:15 am at her home in Alliance.
Born on July 13, 1926 in Salem, Ohio to John and Martha (Smith) Kniseley, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
A 1944 graduate of Salem High School, Betty was employed at SanCap as a printer and retired in August of 1988 after 32 years of service.
Betty was a collector of plates and lady figurines. She was an avid reader and crocheter. Betty loved gardening and her flowers. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (David) Mylar of Alliance; a son, Thomas Penny of Vero Beach, FL; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Donna (Robert) Citino; and two nieces.
Preceding her in death was her her first husband, Kenneth Penny; her second husband, Ralph L. Conrad; a son, Kenneth Penny, Jr.; and her parents.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Freddie Rodriguez officiating. Entombment will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
