Betty Brown's Obituary
Betty C. (Voytko) Brown, 91, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Born on October 25, 1934 in Windber, PA to Paul and Barbara (Schuster) Voytko, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
Betty was a member of Alliance First Assembly of God.
Betty spent many years caring for family and also friends that eventually referred to her as "Grandma".
Survivors include her daughter, Debra (Ed) Brown-Good of North Canton; six grandchildren, Jamie (Kellie), Nick (Heather), Cady, Brittany, Antonio and Angelo; four great-grandchildren, Emma Jo, Lauren, Jett and Kody; several nieces and nephews, “The Gang”; and her good friend and neighbor, Sue Brady.
Preceding her in death was her husband, William G. Brown, whom she married on October 14, 1949 and who died on March 23, 2008; her parents; and three brothers, Paul, Joe and, Ed Voytko.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Todd Troyer, of Alliance First Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
