Very sorry to hear about Bernie's passing. I went to school with, and played softball, with his daughter, Heather. I ran into him now & then at Wal-Mart, or at restaurants around town & he was always so nice. He loved to chit chat! Praying for peace & comfort for his family. I know he'll be missed.
We didn't get to know "C B Smith" as my Dad (Ken Swartz) always called him, until a few years ago, and can understand why my Dad thought so much of him. We agree, and are so sorry to hear of his passing. Jan & Wayne Strom
Heather and Glenn were our neighbors for several years.we met Bernie as he and Glenn would be working on home projects. He was a very nice man and I always admired how he and his son in law got along. Heather you and Glenn are in our prayers during this difficult time. Love you guys.
We were neighbors with Bernie and his family, his Mom and Dad were my Mom and Dads best friends. We all played together as kids and had some fun times. Bernie was like a brother to us, I"am so sorry to hear about his passing, may you rest in peace my friend. The Braunns Family
We knew Bernie for 37 years and he was like the big brother I never had but always wanted. You could meet him one time and feel like you had known him for years. I have so many wonderful and fun memories of him. I could write pages about how special he was. His strength got him through two previous cancers but he was tired from this one and now he is at peace. He will forever be in our hearts. Love you my friend.
