Ben "Tony" Montesano's Obituary
Ben Anthony "Tony" Montesano, 54, of North Canton, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 1, 2023.
Born on January 25, 1968 on Patuxent River Naval Base, in Lexington Park, Maryland to Benjamin and Barbara (Schmied) Montesano, he lived in the Stark County Area all of his life.
A 1986 graduate of Marlington High School, he also graduated from the University of Akron Mastering in Spanish, English and Business Sum Cum Laude.
Tony was employed at American Personnel as CFO for 14 years and then at Walsh University, Stark State College, Kent University and the University of Akron Wayne Campus as a Professor for over 15 years.
Family meant everything to him, and he was always ready to drop anything to lend a hand.
He enjoyed watching and playing many different sports. He also loved to travel the world, was an avid reader, enjoyed playing video games, and was the "planner" of family trips and gatherings.
Survivors include his daughter, Danielle (Sean) Faulkner of East Canton; three grandchildren, Aliseia Burnham, Alixandria Burnham and Odyn Faulkner; his parents, Benjamin and Barbara Montesano of Homeworth; two brothers, David Montesano of Cuyahoga Falls and Giancarlo (Nickie) Montesano of North Royalton; three nephews, Julian, Henry and Luca Montesano.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. G. David Weikart, as celebrant.
