Beatrice McCoy's Obituary
Beatrice McCoy, 74, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at 9:20 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. A former Randolph resident, Mrs. McCoy was born in Richwood, WV, on December 19, 1929. Beatrice lived most of her life in Randolph and Alliance. She is survived by a daughter, Lynn Alvis of Akron; daughter and son-in-law, Kathi & Louie Citino of Alliance; 3 grandchildren, Scot Alvis, Jason Alvis, and Hope Rummell; four great grandchildren, Ryan, Josh, & Corrin Alvis, and Miranda Rummell; three sisters, Marguerite Conn of Grand Rapids, MI, Jean Englehart of Alliance, and Barbara Shushok of Atwater; and several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edward McCoy on August 19, 1998 (they were married on February 14, 1946); her parents, Charles and Randy (Jones) Newsome; three sisters, Annabelle Newsome, Agnes Kee, and Mary Ann Baker; and four brothers, Leon, Robert, Francis, and Burton Newsome. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Eric Crites of the Cornerstone Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
