Beatrice "Bea" Davis' Obituary
Beatrice E. "Bea" (Stranges) Davis, 93, of Alliance, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at her home in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on June 13, 1933 in Alliance to John and Lena "Lilla" (Villella) Stranges, she lived in Alliance all of her life.
Beatrice was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. She was an Altar Server for Masses for many years at both Regina Coeli and St. Joseph Catholic Churches.
A 1951 graduate of Alliance High School, she managed the Alliance B.P.O. Elks Club for over 38 years.
She was a Life Member of the Alliance B.P.O. Elks, Lodge #467, Ladies Auxiliary and the Ladies of the Christopher Columbus Society.
Beatrice took the call to visit the sick as a priority during her life, she served for Funeral Masses and later attended all funeral services that she was able to. She loved playing bingo and was lovingly known as "Bingo Bea Bea". Her personal song was Elvira which she would quickly jump up on a table and dance to it.
Survivors include her two daughters, Leigh (Gary) Nutial of Fernadina Beach, FL and Rebecca (Eric) Abbott of Alliance; two sons, Kyle (Nancy) Davis of Port Charlotte, FL and Charles (Cindy) Davis of Carthage, NY; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Richard E. Davis, whom she married on February 13, 1954 and who died on October 29, 2000; her parents; her two sisters, Lois Rampone and Martha Charlton; and her brother, John Stranges.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Regina Coeli Catholic Church, with Rev. Michael Seifert, as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
