Barbara J. Antram's Obituary
Barbara Jean (Carli) Antram joined her beloved husband Bob, for eternity on Monday, December 23, 2019.
She was born on October 11, 1937 to Jennie (Burson) and Alfred “Beno” Carli and was a lifelong resident of Alliance.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, a grandmother, sister and aunt, whose greatest joy in life was her family and friends.
Barbara attended St. Joseph Grade School, graduated from Alliance High School, Class of 1954, and National Beauty College in 1956. She was a beautician at Bobbies Beauty Salon on West Main St. from 1957-1961. She retired from the Alliance High School cafeteria after 25 years of service in 1997.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance. She was also a member of the former Ladies of the Dante and the Roma Society where she was recording secretary for 32 years.
Barbara and Bob were resident managers at Sebring Villa Apartments in Sebring from 1997- 2002, where they met many new friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Laurie and her husband Dan Brodzinski and their children Ben and Brooke; Carolyn Antram; Jenny and her husband John Sherban; sister, Nancy and her husband Ken Schwan; brother Rick and his wife Pam; her aunt Vicky Erchick; nephews, John Peters, Eric and Brian Reo, Rick and Matt Carli, and niece, Patty Peters.
She was preceded in death in 2004 by her cherished husband Bob of 45 years, whom she married on May 16, 1959; her parents; infant brother, Jerry Carli; sister and brother-in-law, Jenilyn and Dave Reo; and in-laws, Don and Lucinda Peters.
Barbara loved her family and instilled strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Barb’s family wishes to thank Aultman Alliance Hospice for the care she received for the past five months.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Very Rev. Canon Matthew J. Mankowski, as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
