Armando Lorenzo "Herman" Del Puppo's Obituary
Armando Lorenzo "Herman" Del Puppo, 71, of Alliance, died on Sunday, February 20, 2005, at 11:15 a.m. at Community Care Center. Born in McComas, WV, on June 28, 1933, Herman lived in Alliance since 1945. Mr. Del Puppo attended St. Joseph Catholic Church of Maximo and retired, with a disability, after 30 years of service at Chrysler of Twinsburg. He was a member of the Buckeye Cruisers Motorhome Club. An avid Cleveland Browns fan, he also enjoyed playing softball. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie L. Hutter Del Puppo whom he married on September 15, 1978; five daughters, Nancy (Kurt) Reese of Louisville, Rosemary Hull of Alliance, Kathy (Steve) Lautzenheiser of East Canton, Terree A. (Dennis) Cameron of Homeworth, and Kimberly K. (Daniel) Burkhart of Beloit; two sons, Ray Del Puppo of Akron and James K. Strock of Homeworth; 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two brothers, Paul (Ann) Del Puppo and Louie (Cheryl) Del Puppo, both of Alliance; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Herman was preceded in death by his parents, Orelio and Clara J. (Veneri) Del Puppo; a son-in-law, Danny Hull; and a brother, Louis Del Puppo. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
