Arletta "Kay" Bray's Obituary
Arletta "Kay" (Maxwell) Bray, 69, of Alliance, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 10:28 am at her home in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on May 15, 1954 in Alliance to Harry Paul and Arletta (Greathouse) Maxwell, she lived in Alliance all of her life and was a 1972 graduate of Alliance High School.
Kay enjoyed camping, reading, crafting, crocheting, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Melanie (David) Stowe of Salem; two sons, Everett "Tim" (Nancy) Bray of Alliance and Todd Joseph (Sierra) Bray of Sebring; six grandchildren, Neryssa Stowe, Justin (Rachel) Stowe, Raeyanne Bray, Riley Bray, Ethan Bray and Jeffrey Bray; great-granddaughter, Charliann Thomas; two great-grandsons, Hudson and Grayson Thomas; two sisters, Patricia Dias and Eileen Heuer; two brothers, LeRoy and Donald Maxwell; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Everett Neil Bray, whom she married on January 2, 1973 and who died on August 25, 2018; her parents; a sister, Pauline Maxwell; and four brothers, John Maxwell, Butch Maxwell, Tom Maxwell and Bill Tribbett.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
