Anton Kotolup's Obituary
Anton Kotolup, 60, formerly of Alliance, died on Friday, July 25, 2003, at 4:00 a.m. at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky. Born in Russia on April 14, 1943, he had been a resident of Alliance since 1957. A U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, he was previously employed at Transue & Williams and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1036. Survivors include a daughter, Kim Kotolup of Calif; a son, David Kotolup of Calif; a sister, Raissa Teppert of Alliance; a brother, Nick Kotolup of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nikita and Maria (Bilan) Kotolup; and a brother, Alexander Kotolup in 1995. Graveside services will be held at the Alliance City Cemetery Chapel on Monday, July 28, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Samoila of St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church, officiating. There are no calling hours. Burial, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
