Antoinette Lucille (Sinkovitz) Peters' Obituary
Antoinette Lucille (Sinkovitz) Peters, 93, of Brighton, Mich. and formerly of Alliance, died on Monday, September 22, 2003, at 9:40 p.m. at the South Lyon Home of Compassionate Care in South Lyon, Michigan. Born on December 4, 1909, she lived in Alliance until 1928 when she moved to Michigan. She is survived by her son, John J. Peters of Brighton, Mich.; two daughters, Gerrie Almeida of Punta Gorda, FL, and Mary Ellen Wendel of Gilbert, IL; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Michalak of Farmington, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Boles and Amelia (Popalegas) Sinkovitz; a sister, Ann Collins and three brothers, Frank Sinkovitz, John Sinkovitz, and Babe Sinkovitz. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, September 25, 2003, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, September 26, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
