Anne M. Unkefer's Obituary
Anne M. (Marini) Unkefer, 65, of Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
Born on March 27, 1959 in Alliance to Frank C. and Ines V. (Profetta) Marini, she lived in Carrollton for most of her life.
A 1977 graduate of West Branch High School, she was a member of the West Branch Alumni Association.
Anne’s favorite job was working as a supervisor in Insurance Marketing at Mobile Consultants Inc.
Anne was a social media butterfly. Keeping in touch with her friends and family was very important to her. She bred 42 Dogue de Bordeaux puppies over ten years. She loved riding motorcycles, crafting, hosting parties and sharing her outstanding northern Italian cooking. She had fond memories of showing and raising horses. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to many different places.
Survivors include her husband, Wade E. Unkefer, whom she married on June 9, 2007; her daughter, Megan E. Showers of Damascus; two sons, Shawn Blymiller of New Franklin and Erik (Carrie) Blymiller of Alliance; four grandchildren, Gabriel, Christian, Nicholas and Fenix; her sister, Mary Mulinix of Beloit; her brother, Msgr. Francis J. Marini of Ft. Myers, FL; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cats, Winston and Willow.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home and also on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am with Rev. Jon Truax, of Science Hill Community Church, officiating.
