Anne T. Snyder's Obituary
Anne T. Snyder, 93, of Alliance, died on Monday, April 25, 2011, at 2:42 p.m. at Altercare of Alliance. She was born on June 21, 1917 in South Fork, PA, and lived in Alliance most of her life. Mrs. Snyder was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and their Altar and Rosary Society. In her past-time, she enjoyed taking walks, gardening, and playing cards, bingo and other games of chance. She is survived by her two daughters, Margaret A. Karnofel and Donna J. Ancona, both of Alliance; a son, Robert J. (Margaret) Burns of Alliance; five grandchildren, Michael Ancona, Becky (Shawn) Spencer, Adam Burns, Joe Burns, and Luanne Fields; five great-grandchildren, Xander, Aiden, Tess and Chris; and great-great-grandchildren Zachary, Ethan and Josie; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Donald E. Snyder on November 12, 1988, whom she married on October 17, 1935; her parents, Joseph and Catherine (Fruncek) Waskivich; five sisters, Edna Coveleski, Stella Govern, Blanche Catich, Helen Knam and Nellie Burns; a brother, Edward Waskivich; an infant sister Mary Waskivich and an infant brother, Joseph Waskivich. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
