Anne S. Barany's Obituary
Anne S. Barany, 91, of Alliance, died on Thursday, February 7, 2008, at 12:15 p.m. at Canterbury Villa of Alliance. She was born on August 4, 1916 and lived in Alliance all of her life. Anne was a graduate of Alliance High School and was a member of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She retired from Alliance Manufacturing, where she was employed as a secretary. Mrs. Barany was a member of the Ladies Elks and the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course. She is survived by her two sons, Tom Barany of Timonium, MD and John Barany of Milton, FL; five grandchildren, Jeff Barany of New York, NY, Matt Barany of Richmond, VA, Marc Barany of Richmond, VA, John Barany of Youngstown and Julie Richardson of Poland; and one great-grandchild, Catherine Ann of Youngstown. Preceding her in death was her husband, John A. Barany on March 17, 1988; and her parents, Fred and Regina (Shuster) Schneider; her sisters and brother-in-laws Arthur and Hilda Aberegg and John and Pauline Flannery. A Memorial Service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor John H. Anderson of St. Paul s Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment was at Highland Memorial Park on February 14, 2008.
