Anna Marie Znosko's Obituary
Anna Marie Znosko, 87, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at her home. Born in Kent, OH, on April 23, 1915, she had lived in Alliance since her marriage in 1945. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons, Michael Znosko of West Haven, CT, Steven Znosko of Newark, OH and Edwin Znosko of Alliance; seven grandchildren, Stefan, Alex, and Katrina all of West Haven, CT, Mary of Tohatchi, NM, Theresa and Stephane of Newark, OH, and Jennifer of Sebring; four great-grandchildren, Keegan, Korie, Sierra, and Amanda; a sister, Tillie Montoni of Kent; a brother, Ted Smeiles of Kent; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Alexander Joseph Znosko, whom she married on June 20, 1945; her parents, Dominic and Lydia (Oglinski) Smeiles; and two brothers, Roman Smeiles and Ben Smeiles. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, May 24, 2002, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, May 25, 2002, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
