Anna G. Kuceyeski's Obituary
Anna G. Kuceyeski, 88, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 10:45 a.m. at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 12, 1920 in Cleveland, and lived in Alliance most of her life. A graduate of Alliance High School, she was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Anna retired from the Health Center, now the Community Care Center, where she was employed as a receptionist. Mrs. Kuceyeski was a member of the Senior Center, the Funtastiks, the Sisters Widow Group and volunteered in the Endoscopy and Pain Management Center at Alliance Community Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, cooking, and baking, especially for Christmas and weddings. Anna is survived by three daughters, Diana (Ronald) Cox of Alliance, Cynthia (Don) Bianco of Columbus and Barbara (Peter) Vega of Alliance; two sons, Philip (Rose Marie) Kuceyeski of Perrysburg and Raymond Kuceyeski of Sarasota, FL; seven grandchildren, Angela Zoldowski, Ronald Cox, Jr., Stacia Kuceyeski, Celia Bianco, Zachary, Gabriele and Emily Vega; five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Claire and Caitlin Cox, Madison and Tyler Zoldowski; a sister, Carol Visi of Alliance; and nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Ignatius Kuceyeski on December 18, 1989, whom she married on August 14, 1943; her parents, Gabriel "George" and Mary (Nadi) Visi; a sister, Mary Sharkey; and three brothers, George, Gabriel and Louis Visi. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, June 27, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank Aultman Hospital and Aultman Hospice for their wonderful care and to Fr. Feicht for all of his kindnesses.
