Anna Mae DiStefano's Obituary
Anna Mae DiStefano, 76, of Alliance, died on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 11:33 p.m. at Alliance Community Care Center. Anna Mae was born April 11, 1930 in Alliance and had lived in Alliance all of her life. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in her youth and was currently a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and their Altar & Rosary Society. Anna Mae was a volunteer at Alliance Community Hospital and was heavily involved in the community with her late husband Oliver "Ollie" DiStefano while he served as President of the Hot Stove Baseball League. She was also involved in numerous other interests, particularly with the Alliance Garden Club, where she had served as President. Anna Mae is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Suso of Mentor; two sons, Scott A. DiStefano of Chicago and Joseph A. DiStefano of Los Angeles, CA; and four grandsons, Patrick, David, Anthony & Michael. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver J. "Ollie" DiStefano who died on October 26, 1997, (they were married on December 2, 1950); her parents, Frank and Frances (Rocki) Cvitkovic. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, August 14, 2006, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Regina Coeli Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert and the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as concelebrants. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
