Anna M. Diehl's Obituary
Anna M. Diehl, 76, passed away peacefully at Akron City Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Alliance, Ohio to Ivan and Jennie Specht in 1926. She is survived by her children and their respective spouses: Jennie (Bob) Williams, Uniontown; Anne (Dick) Raines and Helen (Dave) Monter of Akron; Ralph (Laura) Diehl of Alliance.Grandchildren include Mike (Robin) Diehl and Steve (Lisa) Diehl of Alliance; Michele Fitzgerald, Uriiontown; Jeff Williams, San Francisco; Kara Williams, Boston; Kim and Heather Raines, John and Lori Monter, of Akron, and David (Sara) Monter, Cuyahoga Falls, currently serving in the National Guard in Michigan. Great- grandchildren include Randy & Dusty Diehl, Betsy, Cindy, Abigail and Daniel McGuire; Matthew Fitzgerald and Samantha Monter. She leaves behind 3 sisters, 6 brothers, and several nieces and nephews. There will be no services. Cremation has taken place. Private graveside services will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Sharer-Stirling- Skivolocke Funeral Home in Alliance.
