Ann M. Sinkovitz's Obituary
Ann M. Sinkovitz, 88, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at 2:15 p.m. at her home. Ann was born in Alliance on February 26, 1918 and lived most of her life here. She previously had worked at B & W and had retired from Union Plate & Glass. Mrs. Sinkovitz was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Women s Club. She enjoyed gardening and loved to sew and knit. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles A. "Chic" & Pat Sinkovitz of Alliance; a son, Bruce Sinkovitz of Alliance; a daughter-in-law, Delores Sinkovitz of North Canton; and four grandchildren, Tylor, Trisha, Matthew and Jason. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Sinkovitz on June 2, 1995 (they were married on February 14, 1942); a son, Brian Sinkovitz; her parents, Alex and Cecelia (Carpusas) Gruzinskas; a sister, Stella Gruz; and a brother, Joseph Gruz. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, May 13, 2006, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Regina Coeli Catholic Church on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert as celebrant. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
