Ann Felix's Obituary
Ann Felix, 83, of Alliance, died on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 3:55 a.m. at her residence. She was born on August 10, 1925 in Carmichaels, PA, and lived in Alliance most of her life. Ann was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Felix retired from the Genie Company after 50 years of employment, and deeply loved her many friends and co-workers. She enjoyed gardening, baking, arts and music and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Ann is survived by a daughter and "special son," Diana and Jeff Pazzelli, Sr., who cared for her with love and devotion throughout her many illnesses; a son, Del Shafer of Columbiana; five grandchildren, Jeff and Dina Pazzelli of Homeworth, Michelle Ann Pazzelli Steed and Timothy Steed of Alliance, Tom, David and Lisa Shafer of Pittsburgh, PA; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Weisboed of Pittsburgh, PA; two brothers, Walter Michantz of Phoenix, AZ and Michael Michantz of Bradenton, FL; and her loving companion, Jake Felix who was always at her side and her constant source of peace and happiness. Preceding her in death was her first husband, Del Shafer; her second husband, Michael Felix; her parents, Gustov and Sophia (Chachurnik) Michantz; a sister; and six brothers. Ann requested a special remembrance of gratitude be extended to Dr. Michael McGrady and staff, Dr. Perry Flesher and staff, Fr. Donald L. Feicht and Margaret Bowman for their exceptional care and kindness. Private Services will be held. There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
