Ann Antonosanti's Obituary
Ann (Joliet) Antonosanti, 93, of Alliance, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 12:10 pm at her home in Alliance.
Born on May 23, 1923 in Alliance, to Elmer Eugene and Sadie (Early) Joliet, she lived in Alliance for all of her life.
She graduated from Alliance High School and Notre Dame College. Ann was also a member of Holy Assumption Orthodox Church in Canton.
She enjoyed reading and writing short stories and had taught reading at the former Morgan Elementary School.
Ann volunteered at Animal Attic in Canton and was a member of Central Ohio Saddle Club.
She also volunteered in the Cafeteria at Alliance Community Hospital and delivered Meals on Wheels.
Ann enjoyed playing tennis, showing horses, and was an avid seamstress. She participated in several area Senior Olympics in swimming and tennis competitions.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean (Dale) Wahl of Alliance; three sons, Thomas (Donna) Antonosanti of Canton, Stephen (Mary Jo) Antonosanti of Charlotte, NC and James (Elizabeth) Antonosanti of Lake Park, FL; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a niece, Josephine Taylor of Phoenix.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Thomas “Tommy” Antonosanti, whom she married on September 16, 1944 and died on November 9, 2016; her parents; two sisters, Beatrice Joliet and Dorothy Sheedy.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 am at Holy Assumption Orthodox Church, with Fr. Stacey Richter, as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park. There are no calling hours.
