Angeline Viola's Obituary
Angeline (DiPersico) Viola, 81, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, December 22, 1981 at 11:20 pm at Alliance Community Hospital in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on July 28, 1900 in Celano, Aquilia, Italy, as Angela DiPersico to Emidio and Castunga (Ronallitti) DiPersico, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
Angeline was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She also was a member of the Roma Society.
Survivors include three daughters, Jennie (John) Sarchione of Alliance, OH, Mary (Arthur) Calladine of Alliance, OH, Erma (Monty) Muntean of Alliance, OH; and a son, Donald Viola of Riverside, CA; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth Coffini of Rome, Italy.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Pasquale “Patsy” Viola, whom she married on Jan. 24, 1921 and died on May 10, 1968; her father, Emidio DiPersico; and her mother, Castunga Ronallitti.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 23, 1981, from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Funeral Home.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 24, 1981 at 9:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Fr. Edward Gretchko as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
