Andrew J. "Andy" Orsburn's Obituary
Andrew J. "Andy" Orsburn, 45, of Alliance, died on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:01 a.m. in the Emergency Room of Alliance Community Hospital. Born on August 26, 1965 in Alliance, he lived in Alliance most of his life. He was a graduate of Marlington High School and he served our country in the U.S. Army. He was currently employed at SanCap Abrasives, where he was a maker operator. In his past-time, he enjoyed spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Orsburn whom he married on November 26, 2005; his son, Zachary Orsburn of Sebring; his daughters, Andrea (Gary Rowles) Orsburn of Alliance; Christine (Jason) Irey of Beloit; Peggy Sue (Issac Brooks) Rogers of Sebring; Rebecca (Joshua Brooks) Rogers of N. Benton; nine grandchildren; Mother, Norma (Shutler) Orsburn of Alliance; a sister, Theresa "Tess" Orsburn of Alliance; a brother, Michael Orsburn of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father, Gerald "Jerry" Orsburn on October 26, 2009. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Herbert Smith of the Home Mission Church officiating. Interment will follow at West Beech Cemetery.
