Allyne Stevens 's Obituary
Allyne “Ali” Lillian (Beehler) Stevens, 71, of Alliance, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 10, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Ali passed in her own home peacefully.
Ali was born June 14, 1946 in Tucson, Arizona. She grew up in Bergholz, Ohio and graduated from Carrollton High School in 1964.
She met her high school sweetheart, James David Stevens, at the age of 15 years old and later married him on September 19, 1964. She then moved to Alliance in 1965 to live out the rest of her life.
Ali was very creative and she had many pastimes; some of her favorites were arts and crafts, crocheting, painting, ceramics and flower arrangements. She also enjoyed photography and nature. She loved her flowers and gardening and was a fantastic cook and baker. She was an avid reader and a lover of her animals.
Ali was a member of the Red Hats Society and attended First Immanuel United Church of Christ.
Mrs. Stevens worked at Alliance Manufacturing for a few years, then became a stay at home mom until her children had grown. She then was employed at Costal Pet Products for 17 years.
Her surviving children are, Wendy Allyne Stevens of Taft, CA; Teresa (Richard) Barnhart of Alliance, OH; and James E. Stevens of Bakersfield, CA; her grandchildren are, Thomas “Eddie” Steed, US Air Force; Forrest (Drea) Kerr of Taft, CA; great-grandchildren, Kylar Ray Johnson and Kimber Leigh Kerr of Taft, CA. She had many loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice (Graham) Beelher, her father, Albert John Beelher, and her husband, James David Stevens on September 9, 2006.
Private Family Services will be held.
