Allen Mercer's Obituary
Allen Glen "Ace" Mercer, 79, of Alliance, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 2:30 pm at his home in Alliance.
Born on June 15, 1940 in Alliance, to Herman and Emma (Berlin) Mercer, he lived in Alliance all of his life.
A 1959 graduate of Alliance High School, Allen was employed at Transue & Williams for over 45 years.
Allen enjoyed fishing in Canada and Oak Island, N. Carolina and golfing with friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Alicia (Brent) Kuntzman of Alliance; his son, David Mercer of Ohio; daughter-in-law, Angela Mercer of Mesa, AZ; five grandsons, Seth Mercer, Trystin Mercer, Gage Kuntzman, Lukas Kuntzman and Max Kuntman; two granddaughters, Ashley Mercer and Candace Mercer; and two great-grandsons, Todd Brown and Sebastian Mercer; two sisters, Christine Gehret and Shirley Hawthorne; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his former wife, Pamela Mercer, who passed away on July 10, 2012; a son, Todd Mercer; his parents; and a brother, Thomas Mercer.
Private Services will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park at a later date.
