Alice C. Trieff's Obituary
Alice C. Trieff, 83, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, October 12, 2004, at 12:45 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born in South Fork, PA, on September 19, 1921, she lived in Alliance most of her life. Mrs. Trieff retired from the T.R.W. in Minerva. Alice was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was a Eucharist Minister and a Bereavement Minister. She belonged to the Funtastiks and the former Women s Guild. Alice volunteered for the American Red Cross. She is survived by her three sons, Paul (Pat) Trieff of Alliance, Bob Trieff of Massillon and Rick (Barb) Trieff of Indianola, IA; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Nanes of Columbus; a brother, Donald Covelski of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Trieff was preceded in death by her son, David Trieff; her parents, Anthony D. and Edna C. (Waskavich) Coveleski; and a brother, Bill Coveleski. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
