Alice Jean Copacea's Obituary
Alice Jean Copacea, 83, of Alliance, died on Monday, May 26, 2003, at 10:05 a.m. at Community Care Center. Born in Potsdam, New York on May 9, 1920, she had been a resident of Alliance since 1936. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith. Survivors include a daughter, Melinda A. Matthews of Alliance; a son, Frank James Matthews; a brother, Richard Perry of FL; and nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, George Henry and Clara Frances (Hayes) Perry; her husband, John J. Copacea on July 14, 1992 (they were married on January 14, 1961); two sisters, Mary Wakeley and Kaye Petracca; and five brothers, Milan, Horace, Leo, Vince and Paul Perry. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, May 29, 2003, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht officiating. Burial will follow at the Alliance City Cemetery.
