Alexis Mazzei's Obituary
Alexis J. (Gazey) Mazzei, 75, of Beloit, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 11:29 pm at the Cleveland Clinic.
Born on April 28, 1947 in Massillon, to Alex and Johanna (Sohar) Gazey, she lived in Beloit for most of her life.
A 1965 graduate of Alliance High School, Alexis was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was employed at Ohio Drill & Tool in Homeworth as a Shipping Clerk for 35 years.
Survivors include her husband, Armando Mazzei, whom she married on April 4, 1964; her two sons, Jerry A. (Shelly Miller) Mazzei and Jeff (Nancy Drakulich) Mazzei; her granddaughter, Jamie L. Mazzei; her grandson, Vinnie J. Mazzei; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Everly Mazzei; a brother,
Alan (Deb) Gazey; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were parents and a brother, David Gazey.
Private services will be held. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
