Albert Muratore's Obituary
Albert Muratore, 90, of Cuyahoga Falls, died on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Aultman Hospital in Canton after a brief illness. He was born on January 1, 1918 in Atwater, and lived in the Alliance area most of his life. Albert was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Muratore retired, after many years of service, from Terex Corp. in Hudson, where he was employed as a tool & die welder. He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Albert enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman at Lake Erie. He is survived by a daughter, Linda (Vincent) Parcher of Green; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his wife, Nina Rose (Chile) Muratore on November 21, 1990; his parents, Frank and Mary (Zoval) Muratore; two sisters, Theresa and Catherine; and three brothers, James, Frank and Eugene. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, March 31, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert of Regina Coeli Catholic Church officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036.
