Aileen Lucille (Fox) New's Obituary
Aileen Lucille (Fox) New, 95, of Alliance, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. She was a resident of Sterling House of Alliance. She was born on February 28, 1919 in Alliance, Ohio to Franklin and Hazel Dell (Daniels) Fox and lived in Alliance all of her life. A graduate of Alliance High School, Aileen retired as an Assembler from Alliance Manufacturing Co. after 30 years of service. Aileen was always a generous person, helping people anonymously; especially at Thanksgiving. She loved cooking and craft making and loved animals, especially her dogs & cats. Aileen was affectionately known as "Auntie" by her entire family. She leaves behind her two sisters, Evelyn M. Muniz of Alliance, OH, and Dorothy J. (Dick) Clark of Alliance, OH; a nephew, Rick Clark of Beloit; three nieces, Sherry (Denny) Stowe of Damascus, OH, Karen Kirkpatrick of Alliance, OH, and Joyce Muniz of Alliance, OH; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent New, whom she married on January 16, 1942 and died on August 25, 1988; an infant daughter, Aileen Lucille New; her parents; and a special nephew, Frank Butch Muniz, whom she loved as a son. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Her Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Donald L Feicht, officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
