Aida R. Barber's Obituary
Aida R. Barber, 82, of Alliance, died on Sunday, December 17, 2006, at 5:50 p.m. at Bel Aire Care Center in Alliance. Aida was born on August 28, 1924 in Alliance and was a lifetime resident here. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by three grandchildren, Thomas Orlando, Deanna Orlando and John Orlando; two sisters, Helen Mangino of Alliance and Eleanor Mangino of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Lester Barber on June 9, 1990 (they were married on June 12, 1948); her parents, Antonio and Maria (Castelluci) Micketti; two sisters, Virginia Welch and Ann Rich; and one brother, Thomas A. Micketti. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 20, 2006, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Donald L. Feicht will officiate. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park following cremation.
