Agnes Saunier's Obituary
Agnes E. Saunier, 87, of Alliance, died on Friday, July 15, 2005, at 11:45 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born in Windber, PA on February 8, 1918, she lived in the Alliance area most of her life. Mrs. Saunier was a 1937 graduate of Alliance High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, George L. Saunier, Jr.; two daughters, Linda (Charles) Andrie of Stow and Nancy Saunier of the home; three grandchildren, Marie, Charles Jr. and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Nicole and Anna; a brother, John (Mary Lou) Martin of Kent; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, George Saunier, III; her parents, John and Anna (Chalky) Martin; and a brother, George Martin. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. Internment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
