Agnes Henderson's Obituary
Agnes Henderson, 87, of Alliance, died on Saturday, December 24, 2011, at 1:45 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born on May 25, 1924 in Alliance, she lived in Alliance all of her life and was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. In her past-time, Agnes enjoyed crocheting, baking, gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Walter Allen Henderson whom she married on November 3, 1943; three daughters, Cheryl (Karl) McGrath of Louisville, Nancy (Tom) Allison of Louisville and Patty (Al) Zingg of Beloit; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Jean Mount of Maximo; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Thomas and Nellie (Webster) Maher; three sisters, Eva Maher, Helen Moore and Anna Finn; and seven brothers, Phillip, John, Donald, Robert, Thomas, Charles and Joseph Maher; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Alliance Community Hospital, Dr. Basit, Dr. Bhullar, Dr. Mitchell, and Dr. Ahmed for their compassionate care during Agnes s stay. Funeral services will be held at Highland Memorial Park Chapel on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. There will be no calling hours.
