Agnes E. Evans Hall's Obituary
Agnes E. Evans Hall, 95, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at 7:50 p.m. at Bel Air Senior Living Community. Mrs. Hall was born in Long Eddy, NY, on January 24, 1910, and lived in Alliance most of her life. In Youngstown, Agnes attended St. Patrick Catholic School and graduated from South High School. She also attended the Youngstown State University. Mrs. Hall retired from Staffman s Organizing Committee U S W A where she had been employed as a secretary. She was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and a former member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring. She is survived by a son, Richard G. (Betty) Evans of Alliance; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Hall on May 15, 1993, they were married on January 11, 1982; her first husband, Paul G.W. Evans on July 11, 1977; a son, James M. Evans; her parents, Charles and Calla (Lilly) Strain; and two brothers, Walter Newland and Francis Newland. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Regina Coeli Catholic Church, 663 Fernwood Blvd., Alliance, OH, 44601.
