Adith Hatton's Obituary
Adith Hatton, 79, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, July 08, 2003, at 11:45 a.m. at her home. Born in Grahn, Kentucky, on October 30, 1923, she had lived in the Alliance area most of her life and attended the Alliance Baptist Temple. Adith is survived by five daughters, Bonnie (Chester) Fowler of Alliance, Imogene (Bob) Briggs of Alliance, Joyce Farnsworth of Alliance, Wanda (Wayne) Percy of Sebring, and Leona (Terry) Wainuskis of Alliance; four sons, Benny (Sandy) Hatton of Vine Grove, KY, Gene Hatton, Kenny (Lori) Hatton, and Johnny Hatton, all of Alliance; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Noble of Grahn, KY; one brother, Bill Roar of Grahn, KY; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Hatton on June 12, 1990 (they were married in August, 1945); two grandchildren; one great-grandson; her parents, Watt and Ethel (Mosier) Roar; two sisters, Eva Stephenson and Lucille Stout; and one brother, Elvie Roar. Graveside services will be held at Highland Memorial Park on Thursday, July 10, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Chester Bryant, officiating. There are no calling hours. The Sharer- Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
