i will miss you greatly grandpa. you have raised a terrific family full of people who care for others just like you did. i am honored to carry your name. hopefully i can achieve half of what you did in your time here. i know your looking down on us with that sly grin with that huge camcorder taking movies :)
My brother-in-law Mark was a quiet comic who would surprise you when you least expected it with practical joke. The one I remember most was a small box which held a "blood" soaked piece of cotton covering a hole in the bottom. Mark would appear with a bandage around his hand holding the box. When you asked what happened he would open the box and you would see his thumb lying in the bloody cotton. After many ohh!!' s and shrieks and "oh how gross!! " were heard, he would laugh like crazy and pull his thumb out of the hole in the box! I think he shocked every family member with that one!! Mark's little brother was very much like him. My life with Dick was a full of little comical things he would do to our kids and I which constantly had us laughing. Both of these great guys are and will always be missed by all of us who love them. But what a great reunion all four brothers must be having in heaven!!
