NFDA - Pursuit of Excellence Award

Dan Skivolocke and his staff have been dedicated to their continued efforts in providing exceptional service to the Alliance community, while adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards, for well over a quarter of a century.

Qualifications 

To achieve recognition in the “Pursuit of Excellence” program, a funeral home must meet quality service criteria in eight categories of achievement. These categories include: education, compassionate service, technical skills, community and professional skills, library and media resources, professional development, in-house staff training, and public and community relations.  Less than 2% of the funeral homes nationwide receive this honor

After being recognized for 10 years for their commitment to the highest professional standards, the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funerual Home has been inducted into the National Funeral Directors Association "Hall of Excellence"
