Pearl M. Pizzedaz

September 11, 1936 - March 24, 2022

Pearl M. (Doucette) Pizzedaz, 85, of Alliance, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 6:22 am at Canterbury Villa of Alliance. Born on September 11, 1936 in Old Town, Maine to Walter and Louise (LaPlante) Doucette, she lived in Alliance most of her life. Pearl was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was employed at the former Gray Drug and retired from Rite Aid after 18 years as a cashier. Pearl loved to shop. She enjoyed dancing the Jitterbug with her husband, ice skating, taking beach vacations and spending time with her family. Survivors include her two daughters, Cathy (Howard) Henderson of Alliance and Terri Jones of Pompano Beach, FL; two sons, John "Scott" (Becky) Pizzedaz and Chris (Christine) Pizzedaz, all of Alliance; two granddaughters, Kristi (Ken) Koppenhoefer and Becca (Chris) Sims; six grandsons, Michael (Missy) Henderson, Josh (Nicole) Court, John Pizzedaz, CJ (Angie) Pizzedaz, Corey Blair and Jesse Pizzedaz; 17 great-grandchildren; dear friend, Lettie Thurman; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, John F. Pizzedaz, Jr., whom she married on November 27, 1954 and who died on April 20, 2002; her grandson, Adam Henderson; her granddaughter, Gina Arbogast; her parents; son-in-law, JJ Jones; two sisters, Jan Morton and Sharon Watts; a sister-in-law, Jean Gaume; and a special aunt, Rita Zaina. Private Services will be held. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
