Nancie J. Bartlett

Nancie J. (Karr) Bartlett, 73, of Alliance, gained her wings on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 3:29 am in her Alliance, Ohio home. Born on December 31, 1948 in Longview, Washington to Robert and Florence “Louise” (Nolan) Karr, she moved to Alliance in 1997. Nancie was employed at Giant Eagle as an Assistant Manager and retired after 5 years of service. Nancie enjoyed crafting, sewing, cooking and entertaining. Survivors include her daughter, Tina Crick of Zanesville; two sons, Donnie Adams of Gastonia, NC and Phillip Lobner of Port Angeles, WA; son-in-law, Melvin Jones of Alliance; eight grandchildren, Amanda (Andy) Kisch of Everett, WA, Michael Brooks of Ashland, Alyssa Alexander of Ravenna, Jenna Jones of Chicago, IL, Alexandra LeForte of Zanesville, Claire Jones of Alliance, Arin LeForte of Alliance and Emily Jones of Alliance; and several additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband, Stephen Bartlett, whom she married on September 21, 1996 and who died on November 10, 2010; her daughter, Sara Jones; her father, Robert Karr; and her mother, Florence “Louise” Hollis. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:00 pm.
