My condolences to everyone in the family. In my heart Joe was always my dad. He married my mother Donna when I wasn’t quite one year old. Joe had Debbie and Joey and mom had me and Mike. They had Vicki together and Penny Dawn who died at birth. In the winter dad would make a path from the woods and across the bridge at the creek so we could sled ride. When we were out playing {which was always} he would ring the dinner bell, we heard that and we knew to get our behinds home ! He worked at the Christopher and every year we got to go to the Christmas party, see Santa and get our stockings. Every year , July 4th was his family reunion. We got there early in the morning and went home after the fireworks. Those were the good ole days. Joe was strict with us kids , I never regretted that, he showed us how to appreciate and take care of what we had. When I was twelve he and my mother got a divorce. That’s when I was told Joe was my step father... he was my dad, the man who raised me . Throughout the years later when we were at Vicki’s for a special occasion, he would always talk about when we were little... I knew he still loved me as his daughter and I loved him as my dad. He’s at peace now and with his wife... God rest his soul... I love you dad😢
Love you. You were a wonderful father in law.
My very last and favorite uncle❤️
