Doris E. Bradley Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Doris E. (Foltz) Bradley, 100, of Alliance, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 6:35 am at Community Care Center in Alliance, Ohio. Born on June 6, 1922 in Alliance, to William and Edna (Price) Foltz, she lived in Alliance all of her life. Doris was a member of the former Christian & Missionary Alliance Church and recently attended Alliance Church of Christ. A 1940 graduate of Alliance High School, Doris had an extensive employment history including working at Alliance Manufacturing, Robins Air Force Base, Ohio Public Services, Holland Furnace Company, Montgomery Ward, and was an Avon Sales Representative for over 60 years. She was a member of the Roadrunner - Rolling Pins Bowling League for 30 years, Merry Widow's Club, and a member and volunteer at the Alliance Senior Center. Doris was an avid dancer and enjoyed line dancing and tap dancing. She was a member of the former Starlite Linedancers and the Alliance Senior Linedancers. Doris enjoyed shopping and traveling. She was an accomplished painter. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Jim) Barker of Alliance; four grandchildren, Jeff (Jen) Bradley, Jenny (Ryan) Price, Tim Bradley and Kara (Dean) Brutsche; five great-grandchildren, Jaxson Bradley, Adi and Ali Price and Jacob and Elsie Brutsche; a sister, Barb Brewer of Westville Lake; her daughter-in-law, Carol Bradley of Hartville; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Donald C. Bradley, whom she married on November 6, 1942 and who died on March 2, 2003; her two sons, Gary and Raymond Bradley; her parents; two sisters, Jean Farr and Marjorie Laposki; and her cat, “Stinky”. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Matt Lowe officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
