How many people remember their 6th grade teacher?! I do! I still have papers in a scrapbook graded by Mr. Hanna in 1966! He was a wonderful, kind and loving man who was a positive influence on hundreds of kids in his career. As I see pictures of my grandson heading off to 6th grade this week, I can only hope he has a teacher who is as dedicated as my 6th grade teacher at Parkway School. God bless his family. Sincerely,

This is of both Ed and Joanne. I remember the Sunday night trips to Minerva for church and youth group since we didn't yet have evening service at Beechwood. I remember Joanne comforting mom and I as she happened to be on duty when dad died. I remember Ed and Mark (I honestly can't remember if anyone else came along or not) taking us to pick up Renee that night. Susie, Mark, Jolenta (forgive me but that's how I know you) your dad had a big presence, but he was also very gentle. Know he is not forgotten and I continue to pray for you all.

Ed was definitely one of the kindest, gentlest people that this world has seen. He touched many lives through all his works and deeds. Prayers for peace and comfort for the entire family.

Susie - I know that you are hurting over losing someone that you have known and loved your whole life. Like my parents, yours were always there for you. We were so lucky to have a Mom and Dad like that. I am thinking of you and your family who have lost a wonderful Dad, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. It is times like these that I feel so far away, but Jim and I will certainly honor your father by donating to the charities mentioned in his obituary. Take care. Love, Vickie

Comfort, condolences and blessings to you, Ed's family. Ed and I were once roommates in the old Grey Dorm at Cincinnati Bible Seminary. I visited his home and parents during that time. The fall of 1958 I was called as Youth Minister to Westwood-Cheviot Church of Christ. I hadn't driven, had no car and needed one. In his brand new 1958 Chevrolet he taught me to drive, took me for my license and to pick up my first car, a 1955 Oldsmobile 88! We had a "clique" who ran around together and I hauled many kids in that car.. He married Jo Ann Mulvaney and I later married my Ruth Ann.Hinds. We swapped Christmas cards many years and he now is HOME with Jo Ann and Ruth Ann and Christ Jesus awaiting my arrival. We started attending Fayetteville Christian Church where Andrew Higle is my minister and friend and fellow volunteer chaplain here at Christian City where I live. Heaven is a brighter place and we all know the BEST is yet to come. - Bob Tyler

Susie and family so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad and granddad. I know how much he was a part of your life. He walked a Christian life and know that one day you will be with him again.
