Joni & family,
So sorry to hear about Bob. Bob Sr., Bob & Jerry all worked for a time at Craig's Dad's store. Good people.! You all are in our thoughts.
Love, Peggy & Craig Molnar
Dear Joni and family, You have my deepest Sympathy. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Wild man is an understatement, He's probably telling God and His Angel's right now, while eating his carrots, that the pearly Gates need alignment and a little WD40 wouldn't hurt. I'm thankful to have known Bobby and honored to have had Him for a Friend. God Bless
Hi Joni and family.
I'm kind of numb still after hearing the news and I’m soo sorry for your loss.
And well, everyone’s loss as well because he was just that kinda guy.
For those who didn’t know, years ago Bob and about 15 or so of us were pretty much inseparable, including his dad .
(I can’t make it back and I apologize but someone please tell the post Turkey Bowl Bob Sr false arrest story?)
(Boy were Bob and his pop alike lol)
We did so much together for a long time, and fun was the operative word.
Playing football, parties, personal events we Invented (Millard Filmores Birthday, straight up no lie) road trips we had, Paintball, parties, and Thanksgiving? What? You think everything was a party? Yup, sure was lol.
But... I don’t care what you ever got yourself into, Bobby was always there to help. Alwayyyyys. One of the finest people I’ve ever known before or since.
I’m reading here folks called him “Wildman” and I’m struggling with that one.
I mean he came chasing after our friend Mitch and I one night with something than can only be described as 1/10 of an oak tree.
Caught us by the way.
Mitch lost part of his door by the way.
And we were all back across town together having drinks at Bob and Joni’s place a few hours later laughing and having fun.
(But Wildman LOL???) Ok. (See oak tree lol)
And Bob, being who he was had fixed Mitch’s door in no time.
He was just that way. A friend, a brother and someone (take my word for it) that you can never forget if you ever had the great fortune of meeting him.
Loved to laugh, loved life and it always showed and I've missed him over the years but have re-lived countless memories over the years as well.
All I can tell you is this, and this should be all you need to know:
I sat down to write a few words, jot down some memories and before I knew it it was 2 am and my notebook was pretty much full.
I cried a little and I laughed out loud a lot, then I took a moment to thank God for him being in mine and our lives.
See you on the other side brother. Much love...
Ron Valentine
My memories of Wildman are all happy ones. He was a great friend and his loss is staggering. All my best to his family, he was loved by many.
I am so sorry for your loss. He was one of a kind, one the best men I've ever met, and a loss that will never be replaced or forgotten. God speed Mr. Bobby. Love always, Heidi
